The mission of PELSAA is to develop tomorrow’s leaders.

The Professional Executive Leadership School Alumni Association (PELSAA) was created by graduates of the Professional Executive Leadership School (PELS) through cooperation with the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation. PELSAA has since extended an associate membership to graduates of the Institute for Leadership in Changing Times (ILCT).

The purpose of PELSAA is to promote the professional development of chief executives and senior command personnel in both the public and private sector; to promote the continuous leadership education of PELS graduates; and to provide a means for PELS graduates to continue their networking. PELSAA is also dedicated to supporting the goals and objectives of the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation.

The vision of the PELSAA is to prepare professional leaders who think into the future so as to develop and promote excellence in services within their organization.
